Isabelle Greene

Isabelle “Sissy” Greene, 103, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday September 23, 2026 at Upstate Community Hospice Home.

Born July 6, 1923 in Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late George Landrum Greene and Daisy Thrift Greene Hughey. She was retired as an Administrative Assistant and was a member of Graham Chapel Wesleyan Church.

Surviving is her sister, Lellaree Greene; brother, Warren Greene; niece and nephew, Mike Greene, Terrie Hopson; great-nephews, Tyler Hopson, Tucker Hopson and several great-great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Jack Greene.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Graham Chapel Wesleyan Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the church with Rev. Preston Edmonds, Rev. James Henderson and Rev. Benny Green officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southern Wesleyan University Music Department, 907 Wesleyan Dr, Central, SC 29630.

Family members are at their respective homes.
