Herman T. Sanford Boiling Springs, SC. Herman Thomas Sanford, 87, widower of Nancy Sanford passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. Born May 4, 1932 in Spartanburg, he was a son of the late William F. Sanford and Bessie Pruitt Sanford. He was a former employee of Union Camp Bag Corporation and a member of Whitney Free Will Baptist Church. Surviving are daughters, Emily Jane Sanford of Inman, Beth Combs (Bryan) of Nashville, TN.; sons, William E. Sanford (Anita Kay) of Lyman, Michael L. Sanford (Ruby) of Spartanburg; sister, Sarah Griffin of Fingerville; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 5, 2019 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Good Shepherd Memorial Park. A Graveside Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Cash officiating. The family is at the home.
