Grady G. Jones, 93, husband of 72 years to Margie Mathis Jones, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023 at White Oak Estates.
Born April 17, 1930 in Gaffney, SC., he was a son of the late Francis R. Jones and Nora Reynolds Jones. He was retired from Hoechst Celanese and was a member of Converse Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his sons, Tim Jones and wife Amy, Rick Jones and wife Robin, Larry Jones and wife Sybil all of Spartanburg; sisters, Yvonne Belue, Sarah Biggerstaff, Faye Jones, Doris Swanger, Brenda Dole; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a grandson, Craig Jones and numerous brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Sunset Memorial Park.
