Grady Curtis Blackwell, 83, husband of Elizabeth “Lib” Harris Blackwell, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center, Mary Black Campus.
Born June 22, 1938, in Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late Curtis Blackwell and Nellie McKinney Blackwell. He was retired from Roebuck Builders and a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Lisa Blackwell (Paul) of Inman; son, Scott “Bo” Blackwell (Heather) of Chesnee, Tim Blackwell of Madawaska, ME.; sister Gail Hames and husband Gerald of Chesnee; grandchildren, Jeremiah Blackwell, Amanda Blackwell, Samantha Blackwell, Bella Blackwell, Ava Blackwell and Ivy Blackwell.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Uvilda Vicars, Eunice Sibbett, Iva Jean Carswell, Uree Stacey; brothers, Gary Blackwell, Shirley Ray Blackwell and Shirley Joe Blackwell.
