Glenn Ray Cantrell

Chesnee, South Carolina 

Glenn Ray Cantrell, 75 years, husband of Dolores Holcombe Cantrell for the past 54 years, passed away in his Chesnee home on March 20, 2024. Glenn was born on April 4, 1948, in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, to the late Tommy Cantrell and Louise Robinson Cantrell. After graduating from high school, he was employed by Hoechst Celanese and later Michelin for 30 years.

He is survived by his wife, Dolores of Chesnee, sons, Todd Cantrell (Angie) of Chesnee and Travis Cantrell (Michelle) of Gray Court, daughter, Jennie Ryals (Keith) of Simpsonville, brother, Billy Cantrell of Forest City, NC, sisters, Norma Wilson (Doug) of Chesnee, Juanita Bailey (Hix) of Harris, NC and his grandchildren, Kylie Ray, Dylan, David, Taylor and Kalen as well as 3 great-grandchildren, DJ, Leo and Payten.

He was predeceased by his son, Preston Jason Cantrell and his brother, Roger Cantrell.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, 1:00 pm in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. A celebration of life will follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel with Kim Meetze officiating.
