Freida Carol Edgens, 63 years old, a resident of Spartanburg, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Spartanburg Medical Center, Mary Black Campus after a brief illness. Freida was born on October 31, 1957, to the late Fred Carol Coker (deceased) and Linda Duggins Coker . She was educated locally in the Spartanburg school system and was employed as a delivery driver for L.K.Q.

She is survived by her sons; Chris (Tanya) Howard of Chesnee, Austin McKillop of Spartanburg, mother; Linda Duggins Coker, and 3 grandchildren; Colton Glenn Howard, Leland Kyle McKillop and Everleigh Grace Sashkov.

A Celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 4, 2021, 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary, with Pastor Scott Davis of Calvary Baptist Church officiating.
