Mrs. Emma Lou Williams

Emma L. Williams Chesnee, SC. Emma Lou Williams, 86, widow of Billy Jack Williams, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Regional Hospice Home. Born July 8, 1934 in Glendale, she was a daughter of the late Ed Cartee and Eliza Stapleton Cartee and was a charter member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Surviving is her son, Edward Williams of Chesnee; grandchildren, Sonia Womack of Greenville, Amanda Bailey and husband Jamie of Mauldin; great-grandchildren, Colton and Cadence. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Martha W. McCarter; sister, Della Mae Stapleton and brothers, Jim, Belton and C.L. Cartee. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2021 in the Chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Rev. Frankie Taylor and Rev. Robert Thomas officiating.
