Eileen M. "Maggie" Miner, 76, of Duncan, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026.
Born on April 26, 1950, in New York, New York, Maggie was the daughter of the late Wallace Piver and Marie "Barrantes" Piver. She graduated from Mother Cabrini High School before continuing her education at Cabrini College, where she earned her bachelor's degree. She also attended Skidmore College in New York.
Maggie had a deep love for animals and dedicated her time to wildlife rehabilitation. She enjoyed playing backgammon and found great joy in birds, horses, and the outdoors. She will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and love of nature.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace Piver and Marie "Barrantes" Piver.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, John Miner, the love of her life, and her stepsons, Ronnie Miner and Johnny Miner, and many cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Denton Cemetery, with interment immediately following.
