Edmond Steen, 94, widower of Wilma Steen passed away Monday, September 13, 2021 at his home. Edmond was born on May, 14, 1927, in Marlboro, South Carolina, to the late Sam Steen and Nancy Paul Steen. He was a veteran of the Untied States Army having served during World War II. Thereafter, he mad a career as a painter until retirement.
Survivors include his son; Thomas of Wellford, daughters; Donna Edwards of Wellford, Sylvia Melton of Spartanburg and Virginia McGinty of Chesterfield, Virginia; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren
He was predeceased by sons; Larry and Ronnie Steen, daughters; Gail White, Mary Howell and brother Jerry Steen.
Private burial services will be held on Friday at Springhill Memorial Gardens in Chesnee, where Edmond will be laid to rest a long side of his wife. Wilma.
