Eddie Joe Williams, known affectionately as Eddie, passed away on July 19, 2026, in Cowpens, South Carolina, as a result of injuries sustained while bicycling from his home to his sister’s home. He was born on February 6, 1960, in Spartanburg, and during his 66 years of life, Eddie touched the hearts of those who knew him with his warmth and unwavering spirit.

Eddie’s journey was marked by deep family bonds, a sense of perseverance, and a steadfast presence. He was a cherished brother to Jimmy Dean Williams, Doris Jean Godfrey, and Joyce Ann Mabry, who remain to mourn his loss and celebrate his memory.
