Duck Crocker

Donald Leroy “Duck” Crocker, 69, loving husband of Renee Thompson Crocker, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born September 29, 1956 in Detroit Michigan, he was a son of Marjorie Winona Lowe Crocker of Chesnee and the late Charles Edward “Ed” Crocker. He was the owner of Crocker Repair Service, a member of Chesnee First Baptist Church but currently attended Arrowwood Baptist Church where he was a member of the Upper Room Sunday School Class and the Golden Arrows which he loved dearly.

Duck loved working with wood, vacationing with his family and friends and loved bluegrass and southern gospel music.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother, are his children, Cristy Mills (Travis) of Chesnee, Cayla Cole (Rusty) of Mayo; Tyler Schmidt (Jessica) of Spartanburg, Skylar Schmidt (Gavin Parker) of Gaffney; brother; Dale Crocker of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Kennedy Mills, Caroline Mills, Reagan Mills, Charleigh Cole, Cash Crocker Cole, Madison Cole, Conner Cole, Raeleigh Burneel, Evie June Schmidt, Callan Parker,

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2026 at Chesnee First Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church with Dr. Gary J. Grogan, Rev. Bruce Jennings and Rev. Wofford Caughman officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arrowwood Baptist Church, Golden Arrows, 1410 SC-11, Chesnee, SC 2932.
