Born May 27, 1957 in Polk County, NC., he was a son of the late Sidney Skipper and Agnes Ridings Skipper.
Surviving are his brothers, Bobby Skipper, Ray Skipper, Larry Skipper and sisters, Carolyn Hall and Janet Hall.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Brenda Harris.
