Don C. Threadgill

Spartanburg, SC

Don Calvert Threadgill, 83, widower of Chris Threadgill, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, December 13, 2025 at his home.

Born February 3, 1942 in Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late L.M. Threadgill and Alba Whitt Threadgill. He was a car salesman for 40 plus years and a member of Cowpens First Baptist Church.

Surviving are his children, Ashley Dunagin (Jamie), Grey Threadgill (Kelly); step-children, Deidra Foster (Jason), Caleb O’Shields (Hollie); sisters, Marian Hampton (Jim), Nancy Davis (Lynn), Jill Thrift (Tony); 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife he was predeceased by a brother, Leslie Threadgill.

A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Cowpens First Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Lawson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

Family members are at their respective homes.
