Dorothy Jean “D.J.” Ross, loving wife of Bud Ross went home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at her home.

Born September 16, 1955 in Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Gene Johnson and Doris Teague Johnson. She served our country in the U.S. Navy, was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and a member of First Baptist Church of Mayo.

In addition to her husband is her son, Josh Ross and wife Lacey of Boiling Springs; grandchildren, Jacie Ross, Landon Ross, Levi Ross all of Boiling Springs; brother, Robert Johnson and wife Shannon and their sons, Brad and Marc of Boiling Springs; niece, Tonya Silvers and husband Thomas and a special great-niece, Sierra Silvers.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 7, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Mayo with Reverend Tyler Estes and Mr. Chris Whitt officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Wesleyan Church Cemetery on Parris Bridge Road

The family will be at the home.
