Diane Cooper

Patricia Diane Cooper, 77, widow of J.Y. Cooper, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Regional Hospice Home.

Born December 8, 1948 in Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Sam Pruitt and Edna Watson Pruitt. She along with her husband ran Coopers Service Station on Highway 11 and she was a member of Alverson Grove Baptist Church.

Surviving is her daughters, Patricia Johnson (Robert) and Judy Henderson (Dean) all of Chesnee; brother, Randall Pruit of Mayo; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and one on the way.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter Crystal Gagnon; son, Jimmy Cooper; brothers Bud and Tommy Pruitt.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary & Crematory. Funeral services will follow at 6:30 p.m. in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary & Crematory with Reverend Jeff Hopper officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Alverson Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.

Family members are at their respective homes.
