In Loving Memory of David Childers “Papa” of Kings Mountain NC 

Mr. David Childers, 71, of 110 Carol Lyn Drive went home to be with the lord, his pride & joy - Toodles, his parents, & his children Mark, “Little David” & Chrissy. David passed peacefully alongside his family on September 7th 2024, at Carolinas Medical Center - Charlotte. Born on April 7th, 1953 in Blacksburg SC. David was retired & loved spending time with his wife & family. As well as picking the strings on his guitar.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda Childers. His siblings- Modeane Childers, Monteen Batchelor, Dan Smith & wife Anita & Steve Smith. His Children- Donna Ledbetter & Charles Bowen; Jamey & Lynn Ledbetter; Angel & Jason Hedspeth; Phillip Childers. His niece, Stephanie & Husband AJ Anothony. His grandchildren- Ashley Cochrone & Husband Chris; Dustin Robinson; Brandon Ledbetter; Cameron Robinson; Taylor & Stephen Ledbetter; Jason & Nanci Ledbetter; Scotty Limbaugh; & Ryan Wallace; Tiffany, Stephanie, Tyler & Dylan Hedspeth; Stevie & Larry Causby. His great grandchildren- Madison & Konnor Atkins.

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 12th at the home of David & Brenda. 110 Carol Lyn Dr. Kings Mountain NC 28086 from 4PM-6PM.
