Darrell Allen Burrell, 70, husband of Norma Blackwell Burrell went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at his home.

Born November 30, 1955 in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Calvin Shay Burrell and Helen Blackwell Burrell. He was a retired textiles worker, was of the Baptist faith and was a U.S. National Guard veteran. Darrell has a strong passion for music and played the drums for many years which brought great joy to his life

Surviving in addition to his wife is his daughters, Tanya McClintock (James) of Boiling Springs, Crystal West of Boiling Springs, Heather Blackwell Henson of Boiling Springs; son, Brannen Smith (McKenzie) of Greer; sister, Wanda Ballenger of Inman; grandchildren, Brianna Januchowski (Mitchell), Cody Chester, Logan Henson, Timberly Burrell, Lindsey Henson, Colton West, Alidee “Allie” McClintock, Macklin “Mack” Smith and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Diane Greene and Elizabeth Billings.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary & Crematory. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary & Crematory.
