Curt-Joachim Wagner, 60, of Inman, South Carolina, peacefully passed away on May 17, 2026. Born on February 13, 1966, in Germany, Curt carried his heritage proudly throughout his life while building a home and community in the United States. He was the son of the late Ted Wagner and is survived by his mother, Margit Wagner.

Curt remained unapologetically himself throughout his life. Whether he was skiing down a mountain, relaxing on a boat ride, or sharing a beer and laughter with friends, he found happiness in the moments that brought people together. He was someone who appreciated good company, valued hard work, and lived with a free spirit that those close to him will never forget. He is survived by his daughter, Annika Wagner and her partner, Lyndee Nikkila, and by his son, Aksel Wagner, who will carry his memory with them always. Curt’s passing leaves a tremendous void in the hearts of those who loved him, but his spirit and the memories he created will never be forgotten. 

His Celebration of Life will be held on June 20th, 2026, from 11 am to 5 pm at 124 Amber Dr., Inman, SC 29349.
