Charles Wayne Walls, 81 years, passed away at home on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. He was born on June 29, 1940, in Spartanburg, to the late Jessie Walls and Mary Lois Culbreth Walls. He was educated locally and at the age of 17, he enlisted with the United States Air Force. Thereafter, he was painter in his professional career.

Survivors include his step-daughter: Jamie Leigh Willis (Marvin) of Spartanburg, brother; Donnie Walls (Lynda) of Travelers Rest, sister; Carolyn Gallman of Spartanburg, grandchildren; Tyler, Chase and Kayla Willis of Spartanburg. He was predeceased by his sister; Helen Dye and long time companion of 38 years Betty Neel.

Charles will be laid to rest privately at the MJ "Dolly" Cooper National Cemetery in Anderson.
