Charles Wayne Rudicill, 80, widower of Charlotte Ruth Rudicill passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2022 at Cherokee Medical Center. 

Born July 1, 1941 in Cowpens, he was the son of the late Oscar Byrd Rudicill Sr and Ethel Etta Henderson Rudicill. He served our country in the US. Army and the US Navy, was employed as an Industrial Mechanic and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cowpens. 

Surviving is a daughter, JoAnn Champion and husband Eddie of Gaffney; sons, Mike Rudicill and wife Renee of Greer, Dylan Rudicill and wife Mary Ann of Chesnee; sister, Rachel Rhinehart and husband Ronnie of Boiling Springs; grandson, Gavin Rudicill and many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a son Charles W. “Pee Wee” Rudicill Jr. 

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. Monday, February 7, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church in Cowpens. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the church with Reverend Henry Coley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
