Charles William Furber, IV, husband of Alice Ruth Sanders Furber, passed away this past Friday, November 17, 2023, in his Spartanburg home. He was born to the late Charles William Furber, III, and Lucille Bennett Furber on January 26, 1944, in Spartanburg. He graduated from high school locally and in his working years, was a maintenance supervisor for Hoechst-Celanese
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Alice Ruth Sanders Furber of Spartanburg, son, Charles William Furber, V, (Sandy) of Boiling Springs, son, Brian Furber (Amie) of Madison, Alabama, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
No services will be held at this time.
