Charles Stevens “Chuck” Laurence, 47, husband of Shannon Laurence passed away Friday, November 21, 2025 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born July 12, 1978 in Spartanburg, he was a son of Dianne Fulmer Laurence of Chesnee and the late James Rufus Laurence. He was a graduate of Woodruff High School, a former forklift operator, an avid Clemson Fan and of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother is his brothers, Gus Reynolds of Camden, Joel King Laurence (Teri) of Aiken; sister, Heather Black of Mayo; aunt, Debra Fulmer of Johnston; nieces, Sarah Laurence and Sydnie Laurence both of Aiken.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by brothers, John David Laurence, James Rufus “Jimmy” Laurence, sister Michelle Black and a nephew, Kristopher Laurence.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Reverend Danny Garrett and Reverend Kevin Sontag officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens.

Family members are at the home of his mother, 254 York Street Chesnee, SC.
