Charlene B. Medford

Charlene Broome Medford, 51, of Boiling Springs, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born on September 28, 1974, she was the daughter of the late Charles Daniel “Danny” and Gaye Fowler Broome. Charlene was the widow of Edwin “Chad” Medford. She is survived by her son, Tyler Gage Medford, her sister, Carolyn (Bert) Sparks and her niece Creighton (Zach) Baldinelli. In addition, her mother-in-law, Linda (Jeff) Massey, her father-in-law, Ed Medford, her brother-in-law, Chris Medford and his children Abbey, Anna and Jaxon and several cousins survive her.

Charlene graduated from Boiling Springs High School, Spartanburg Methodist College, and Spartanburg Community College.

Charlene will be remembered for her big heart and the love for her many friends and family. She loved the beach, the Clemson Tigers and spending time with those she loved.

The family will receive friends at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary & Crematory (5880 Chesnee Highway Chesnee, SC) on Wednesday August 5, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

A celebration of life will be held at the Moonlight Tavern, 8160 Valley Falls Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303 on Saturday August 8, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.

Family members are at their respective homes.
