Bruce D. Mathis

Bruce Dean Mathis, 43, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born June 12, 1982 in Spartanburg, he was a son of Terrie Arrowood Rucker and the late Bruce Wayne Mathis.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his children, Alex Mathis of Connley Springs, NC, Alea Mathis of Spartanburg and a sister, Jamie Hammonds.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a twin brother, Frankie Mathis.

The family will hold a celebration of life service at the home.
