Betty Carol Neel

Betty Carol Neel, 72 years, passed away this past Friday, April 3, 2020, in her Spartanburg home. She was born on September 30, 1947, in Tazewell, Virginia, to the late Hallie Minues and Carrie Frances Brewster Wilson. Mrs. Neel was a high school graduate, lived in Spartanburg 45 years and had been employed as a line assistant for 15 years at Krispi Kreme Doughnut. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include three children; David Alan Neel of Radford, Virginia, Jamie Leigh Willis of Spartanburg, Beverly Dawn Romain of Woodruff, sister; Brenda Lane of Tazewell, Virginia, 9 grandchildren; Tyler Willis, Chase Willis, Kayla Willis, Alisha Romain, Hope Rice, Morgan Forrester, Brandon Neel, Madison Neel, 4 great-grandchildren; Zoe Hall, Macy Rice, Trenton Rice and Tinsley Jett Massie. She was predeceased by one grandson; Malcolm Romain; one sister and Eleanor Simmons.
