Barbara Alice King, 76 years old, widow of John Dale King passed away the morning of Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Spartanburg Medical Center. She was born in South Carolina, to the late Roy M. Bruce and the late Pearline S. Stokes. She was in Quality Control employed with Toledo Scales in her working years.

Survivors include her son, Jonathan Cory King of Boiling Springs, South Carolina, brother, Roy Bruce (Judy) of St. Louis, Missouri. and grandson, Theodon N. King of Shalimar, Florida.

She was predeceased by her brother, Edwin Lamar Bruce.
