Barbara J. Cosby Chesnee, SC Barbara Jean Pyatt Cosby, loving wife of 56 years to Fred Ben Cosby Jr. found peace in the Lord Saturday, November 18, 2017. Born June 8, 1944 in Wilmington, NC, she was the daughter of the late Joe Mills Pyatt and Mary Belle Pyatt. She was a retired from Spartan Mills as a weaver. Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Sandra Brown (Willie) of Chesnee Vickie Cosby of Chesnee, Karen Griffin (Robin) of Chesnee, Daniel Cosby of Forest City; grandchildren, Casey and Nicole Richards of Chesnee, Heather Phillips (Brannon) of Chesnee, Justin Griffin of Aiken, Courtney Griffin of Chesnee , Ethan and Peyton Cosby of Forest City, Brayden Brown of Chesnee; great-grandchildren, Darian Richards of the home, Caleb Richards of Chesnee, Joseph Pressley Jr. of Boiling Springs, Kadeon Fowler of Spartanburg, Michael and Mikayla Phillips of Chesnee, Justin Griffin Jr. of Aiken, Sierra and Tara Brown of Inman, Dylan and Addison Burnett of Inman and nieces and nephews Deena Latargia, Al Pyatt and Jeanne Mayson. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Alton Eugene “Buster” Pyatt and a great-grandson, Cameron Cobb. No services will be held at this time.
