The Lord has chosen to release our brother in Christ from his labors and limitations - no more cancer So thankful to have known Arlie over the years, and very grateful for his faithful service in ministry. Take your well-deserved rest, dear brother. Al Boesenberg

I am so glad I got to see him this past year when we were in the US. We always knew we were in his thoughts when we were out of the country in any capacity. I also treasured his strength, wisdom, and support during those years we were in Raleigh. We will not forget him or how he served.

Arlie always had such a fervor for the word of God. When he got up to preach, you better get excited, because he sure was!! He brought God's word to life! He was an amazing man who loved God and loved all people. What a blessing he was to my life. Praying for his precious family. Love you all!!

What a wonderful man of God! When I think of Pastor McGarvey, I think of him leading weekly alter calls and prayer time! He was always so kind and caring to all! I feel so blessed to have been under his pastoral care and guidance at First Alliance!

I have so many sweet memories but two that I will ever be grateful for is the time Pastor spent discipling Tom when he was saved and the morning that's called him to come to our house to pray with us as My son was starting his walk with Jesus. He was the definition of pastor. Diane Jones
