Arretta F. Martines, 93, of 1140 Johnson Road, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, August 8, 2025 at Willow Ridge Nursing Home in Rutherfordton, NC.

Born July 18, 1932 in Texas, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin A. Martines and Clara Lewis Martines. She was a former Site Worker at Polk County Workshop and a member of Melvin Hill Church of the Brethren.

She is survived by her brother, Danny Martines of Columbus, NC. nieces and nephews; Deborah Cates, Mark Martines, Tim Martines and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Iris F. Martines and a nephew Jimmy Martines.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Graveside services will follow at 2:45 p.m. at Nazareth Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Moore, SC with Rev. Craig Scruggs officiating.
