Andrés "Andy" Torres (1955 – 2025)

Andrés "Andy" Torres, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the age of 70.

Born on October 5, 1955, in Peñuelas, Puerto Rico, Andy was the son of the late Andrés Mercado Torres and Otilia Cruz Pérez. Andy was known for his genuine warmth, his infectious positivity, and the remarkable spirit that ensured he "never met a stranger" and never judged anyone or looked down on anyone.

Andy was a faithful member of Piedmont Baptist Church for 24 years. He retired after 26 years of service at American Fast Print. He remained active and busy in retirement, always enjoying working outdoors, especially his yard work, projects around the house, and fishing.

His greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Lisa Joanne Torres; his daughter, Andrea Hill, and son-in-law, Jason Hill; his son, Tony Torres; and his two precious grandchildren, Jaden and Keely Hill. He also leaves behind six siblings.

Receiving of friends will be held at Piedmont Baptist Church on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM, followed immediately by the memorial service
