Alice Jane Upton Spartanburg, SC. Alice Jane Upton, 60, a lifelong resident of Spartanburg, passed away Friday, December 28, 2018, at Spartanburg Medical Center, having suffered a medical episode. Alice was born on March 28, 1958, in Spartanburg to James Lindsey and Edith Louise Hood Justice. In her working years, she was employed by Dynacast where she was a Quality Coordinator Engineer for 30 years. Survivors include her parents, James and Edith Justice of Spartanburg, daughter and son-in-law; Tiffany Brooke and Jamie Todd of Spartanburg, son, Nicholas James Justice of Spartanburg, sister and brother-in-law Patty and Tim Calicutt of Sprtanburg, brother and sister-in-law, Timothy and Tina Justice of Chesnee and two grandchildren, Kirsten and Ava Todd. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at 1:00 o'clock p.m., at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
