He was born April 9, 1933, in Switzerland, to the late Johann Leo and Barbara Elsener Roellin. In his working years, Hans had been a mechanical engineer working for various companies specializing in plastics. Survivors include his wife, Gertrud of Boiling Springs, son, Stephen Roellin of Michigan, daughter, Barbara Reeves of Connecticut, five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
