Robert C. Moorhead

Robert C. Moorhead, Jr., 88, of Umatilla, FL, passed away Wednesday, November 1st. Born in Gaffney, SC, he was the son of the late Robert Claude Moorhead, Sr., and Louise Stacy Moorhead. He was a graduate of Gaffney High School and attended Limestone College. Bob was a retired banker from United Southern Bank and U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, the former Betty Jo Ramsey of Shelby, NC, and a sister Mary Frances Moorhead. He is survived by a son Robert J. Moorhead of Atlanta, GA, and a brother, N. Eugene Moorhead and wife, Babs, of Gaffney, SC. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church in Umatilla at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 5th. Viewing will be held Saturday, November 4th from 4pm to 6pm at Beyers Funeral Home in Umatilla.
